SWISCA receives guarantee from Swiss Technology Fund

SWISCA, innovator in the Swiss milling industry, receives a significant guarantee from the Swiss Technology Fund. This makes the company from eastern Switzerland one of around 130 portfolio companies that the fund actively supports.

The Technology Fund of the Swiss Federal Office for the Environment FOEN uses loan guarantees to support companies that develop pioneering products to sustainably reduce greenhouse gas emissions and cut resource consumption. The companies are evaluated according to a strict screening process and, after a positive assessment by the guarantee committee, are given the opportunity for uncomplicated and sustainable support. SWISCA is pleased to have been included in the group of beneficiary companies. The award of the guarantee confirms SWISCA's potential and the importance of its innovative solutions for the milling industry.

SWISCA has made a name for itself through continuous innovation work in the field of mill technology. In recent years, for example, it has set striking new efficiency benchmarks in weighing systems. Since 2018, the company has patented around a dozen inventions. For this, SWISCA 2021 was honored with the Best-of-Show Award at the IAOM international milling trade fair in the USA, among other awards.

Now the next development step is on the horizon. With the support of the Swiss Technology Fund, the company can intensify its expansion plans and further pave the way for sustainable and efficient solutions in the industry.
