First Apprentice at SWISCA
SWISCA Launches into its “Next Generation” with the First Apprentice
SWISCA is making history: Rodrigo is the very first apprentice to begin his professional journey at the company. Over the next four years, he will complete his training as a design engineer. For SWISCA, this milestone marks an important step – nurturing young talent is a central pillar of the company’s long-term strategy.
“It is a significant move for us to start developing talent in-house, securing sustainable competitive advantages for the future. Our slogan Next Generation is now also taking shape in the field of vocational training,” emphasizes Heinz Brand, CEO of SWISCA.
Rodrigo will be supervised by Marcel, who approaches his role as a mentor with both enthusiasm and responsibility. “An apprenticeship is the foundation for any future career. It is very important to me to do a good job here and support Rodrigo in the best possible way on his journey,” Marcel explains.
Rodrigo himself is motivated and optimistic about the coming years: “SWISCA is a company with a strong future and a clear commitment to Eastern Switzerland. I really like the products, the team is inspiring, and I was warmly welcomed. I am excited about the years ahead, even though I know they will be challenging.”
With this first apprenticeship, SWISCA is sending a clear signal: developing the next generation is a top priority. In doing so, the company not only creates valuable opportunities for young people but also strengthens its position as an attractive employer and an innovative player in the region.
