Jonas Schär Takes Over Development Leadership from Andreas Kleiner, Who Will Focus on Customer Service
Andreas Kleiner, co-founder and former Head of Development, handed over the leadership of the department to Jonas Schär on July 1. Andreas Kleiner will now focus on the strategic and operational development of Customer Service – a move that underlines SWISCA’s commitment to first-class customer support.
With a background in aerospace engineering, Jonas previously led the design team of the groundbreaking Solar Impulse project, where he played a key role in developing the solar-powered aircraft. He is passionate about solving complex problems and driving innovations that deliver real value to the milling industry. At SWISCA, he has been closely involved in the supervision of the Plansifter project (SIFTO) from day one.
“Jonas has once again demonstrated with the SIFTO project that he possesses excellent skills in both development and leadership. We are very happy to fill the position with a personality like him,” says Heinz Bran, CEO of SWISCA.
In Customer Service, Andreas Kleiner will take all necessary steps to further increase customer value: “We aim to proactively manage the installed base and develop new service products of all kinds that help our customers succeed.” Andreas Kleiner adds: “After eight years in R&D, combined with repeated assignments in Service, I am looking forward to this new chapter.”
