Training Milling Technology

A solid understanding of milling technology enables operators to better manage processes, detect deviations early, and consistently ensure product quality and plant efficiency. Those who understand the relationships between machines, processes, and raw materials can make informed decisions and actively contribute to the smooth and profitable operation of the mill.

Training Overview

A solid understanding of milling technology is essential for efficient and reliable mill operation. In this basic course, participants gain fundamental knowledge of the flour milling process – from grain cleaning and conditioning to grinding, sifting, transporting, weighing, and packing.

The training also provides essential knowledge of key raw materials – wheat, rye, oats, and maize – including their properties and important considerations for processing.

Participants receive a practical overview of the main machines, process flows, and operating parameters. They learn how individual process steps interact and how adjustments influence product quality, extraction rate, and overall plant performance.
